X0C29 RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Our Approach
Every X0C29 creation is developed through an independent Atelier practice where design, craftsmanship, material selection and fulfilment are carefully considered for each individual piece.
Unlike mass-produced retail products, many X0C29 creations are individually completed, produced in limited quantities, made to order, customised, or specifically allocated for each collector.
For this reason, X0C29 operates under a Final Sale policy for all purchases unless otherwise required under applicable consumer protection laws.
By placing an order with X0C29, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted this Return & Refund Policy.
1. Product Categories
X0C29 currently consists of three primary collections:
ATELIER
ATELIER primarily presents Couture creations produced through our Atelier practice.
Depending on the individual piece, products within this collection may be:
• One-of-One
• Individually completed prior to listing
• Made-to-Order
• Custom
• Limited Edition
Each product page clearly states the fulfilment method applicable to the purchased creation.
SIGNATURE
SIGNATURE primarily presents Demi Couture creations.
Products within this collection may be entirely handcrafted by our Atelier or may undergo significant hand-finishing, reconstruction, embellishment or craftsmanship after initial production.
Depending on the individual piece, products within this collection may also be:
• Ready to Dispatch
• Made-to-Order
• Custom
• Limited Edition
Each product page specifies the fulfilment method applicable to that product.
READY-TO-WEAR
READY-TO-WEAR presents everyday X0C29 creations designed for broader production while maintaining the design philosophy of the Atelier.
Depending on the individual product, READY-TO-WEAR pieces may be:
• Ready to Dispatch
• Pre-Order
• Made-to-Order
• Made-to-Measure
• Custom
• Limited Edition
The fulfilment method displayed on each individual product page forms part of the purchase agreement.
2. Final Sale Policy
All purchases made through X0C29 are considered Final Sale unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Due to the nature of our products—including individually crafted creations, limited production, allocated inventory, custom work and made-to-order production—we are generally unable to accept:
• Returns
• Exchanges
• Cancellations after confirmation
• Refund requests based on change of mind
Each purchase reserves production capacity, inventory allocation or an individually completed creation specifically for the customer.
For this reason, confirmed orders cannot normally be cancelled, returned or exchanged.
3. Order Verification
Every order placed with X0C29 is individually reviewed by our Atelier before fulfilment.
Customers may be required to complete an order verification process, including confirmation via email, before processing or dispatch begins.
By replying to the Order Confirmation Email, customers confirm that they have reviewed and accepted:
• the product description;
• product photographs;
• measurements and sizing information;
• fulfilment method;
• estimated lead time;
• care instructions;
• Shipping Policy;
• this Return & Refund Policy; and
• all information presented on the product page.
Failure to complete requested order verification within the specified timeframe may result in cancellation of the order and a refund being issued to the original payment method.
4. Customer Responsibility Before Purchase
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all information provided prior to placing an order.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• product description;
• measurements;
• sizing information;
• product photographs;
• craftsmanship details;
• fulfilment status;
• dispatch estimate;
• care instructions;
• Shipping Policy;
• Return & Refund Policy.
Customers are encouraged to contact X0C29 before purchasing if additional measurements, photographs or product information are required.
Orders placed without requesting further clarification shall be regarded as confirmation that sufficient information has been provided for the customer to make an informed purchasing decision.
5. Measurements & Fit
Every X0C29 creation is individually developed and may differ in fit depending on its design, construction and intended silhouette.
Measurements displayed on each product page should always be regarded as the primary sizing reference.
Customers remain responsible for comparing the listed measurements with their own body measurements or with garments they already own before placing an order.
General size labels such as XS, S, M, L or XL are provided only as approximate references and should not replace the actual measurements listed for each individual product.
Fit may vary depending on factors including, but not limited to:
• body proportions;
• height;
• styling preference;
• intended silhouette;
• garment layering.
Differences in personal fit preference shall not constitute grounds for return, exchange or refund.
6. Handmade Characteristics
Every X0C29 creation reflects the nature of independent craftsmanship.
Many products involve one or more hand-finished processes, including but not limited to:
• hand construction;
• hand finishing;
• hand embellishment;
• garment reconstruction;
• artisanal dyeing;
• washing;
• distressing;
• knitting;
• surface treatments;
• individually applied details.
As a result, slight variations between pieces are an inherent characteristic of handcrafted work and should not be regarded as manufacturing defects.
These natural variations contribute to the individuality and uniqueness of each creation.
7. Limited Editions & One-of-One Creations
Certain X0C29 creations are produced as One-of-One works or in strictly limited quantities.
Once allocated to a customer, an identical replacement may not exist.
Where a replacement is unavailable, X0C29 reserves the right to determine an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Customers acknowledge that the rarity of such creations forms part of their value and exclusivity and is one of the reasons all purchases are treated as Final Sale.
8. Colour Representation & Product Photography
X0C29 makes every reasonable effort to present products as accurately as possible.
However, colours, textures and finishes may appear differently depending on factors including, but not limited to:
• monitor calibration;
• mobile device displays;
• screen brightness;
• lighting conditions;
• photography equipment;
• image post-processing.
Minor differences between on-screen representation and the actual product shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, return or refund.
9. Natural Materials & Individual Characteristics
Many X0C29 creations incorporate natural fibres, handcrafted textiles, coated fabrics, artisanal finishes or individually selected materials.
Natural characteristics, including slight variations in texture, grain, weave, coating, colour depth or surface appearance, are inherent qualities of these materials and contribute to the individuality of each creation.
Such characteristics are not regarded as manufacturing defects.
10. Order Changes & Cancellation
Customers are encouraged to review their order carefully before completing checkout.
Requests to modify or cancel an order may only be considered before production, allocation or dispatch has begun.
Once an order has entered production, has been allocated, prepared for dispatch or dispatched, cancellation requests cannot normally be accepted.
Where a cancellation request is approved at the sole discretion of X0C29 prior to production or allocation, any non-recoverable payment processing fees, currency conversion costs or third-party transaction charges incurred by X0C29 may be deducted from the refunded amount where permitted by applicable law.
11. Refused Delivery & Shipping Issues
This Return & Refund Policy should be read together with the X0C29 Shipping Policy.
Customers remain responsible for accepting delivery of their shipment and complying with all customs and import requirements applicable in the destination country.
Refusal to accept delivery, refusal to pay customs duties, failure to collect a shipment, or providing incorrect shipping information does not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
Where a shipment is returned, abandoned or destroyed due to circumstances within the customer’s control, any additional costs arising from return shipping, storage, customs handling, re-dispatch or disposal may remain the responsibility of the customer.
12. Non-Delivery & Carrier Delays
After dispatch, delivery is performed by an independent shipping carrier.
Although X0C29 will provide reasonable assistance in communicating with the courier and monitoring shipment progress, carrier operations remain outside our direct control.
Delivery delays resulting from customs clearance, carrier operations, severe weather, transportation disruptions or other events beyond our reasonable control do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund or chargeback.
Where a shipment is confirmed as lost through the carrier’s official investigation process, X0C29 will work with the customer to determine an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law and any applicable shipping insurance.
13. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact X0C29 directly before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback.
Most order-related issues can be resolved promptly through direct communication.
Where a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated, X0C29 reserves the right to provide relevant documentation to the payment provider, card issuer or dispute resolution authority, including but not limited to:
• order records;
• product descriptions;
• product page information;
• order verification emails;
• customer correspondence;
• shipment tracking records;
• delivery confirmation;
• courier documentation;
• payment verification records;
• fraud analysis reports;
• photographs where relevant; and
• any other documentation reasonably required to demonstrate the fulfilment of the order.
Submission of such documentation forms part of X0C29’s legitimate efforts to resolve payment disputes and protect both our clients and our Atelier from fraudulent or unauthorised transactions.
14. Fraud Prevention
To protect both our clients and our Atelier, X0C29 reserves the right to carry out reasonable order verification before processing, production or dispatch.
Verification may include confirmation of:
• payment information;
• billing and shipping details;
• customer identity where appropriate;
• order information;
• email confirmation.
Where additional verification is requested, fulfilment may be delayed until verification has been completed.
If verification cannot be completed within the requested timeframe, X0C29 reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a refund to the original payment method.
15. Consumer Rights
Nothing contained within this Return & Refund Policy shall exclude or limit any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where mandatory consumer rights apply, those rights shall prevail to the extent required by law.
16. Policy Updates
X0C29 reserves the right to update or amend this Return & Refund Policy at any time.
Any amendments will apply only to orders placed after the revised policy has been published on our website.
The version of this policy in effect at the time an order is placed shall govern that purchase.
